Inside the Cornish Georgian walled garden, a view of the pool house surrounded by herbaceous borders. Facing south west, the borders are sunny and protected, ideal for Agapanthas, Salvias, Roses, and three large Eucryphias producing a snowy white blossom in August

The owner has created the herbaceous borders in a colour theme of blues purples whites and yellow. In early Spring the borders come alive with some magnificent Tulips, then the Irises, Lupins, Aliums, Roses go on through to late August.

The walls in the walled garden are covered with a variety of clematis, Climbing Roses, Lonicera. A view of a border in July

The walled garden is divided into two areas. The pool area, which has the herbaceous borders and steps lead through an Escalonia hedge down into the Potager. The owners have redesigned this area to hold the picking flowers for the Manor and to grow the ornamental vegetables and herbs - a wonderful sight in Summer, Tulips are planted to start the flowers off in Spring
